I spent the weekend stoking the fire so I could melt and mould plastic. This is the most colourful block that came out of these 'cooks' I began by photographing the untouched block of plastic. As you'll see I then went on to drill into it and sand it down smooth.
These are the images from my photoshoot with my final plastic model. I used a variety of angles, lighting arrangements, distances from the object, and focusses in order to achieve some interesting insight into the models shape, colour, and hidden beauty.
I was especially intrigued by the inside of the object, aiming
to get an image of the model with special detail of the colours and marbling of
the inside.
