By going through the process multiple times I was able to make many different iterations of my model. By changing the process just slightly each time I recieved different results.
The changes I made were different amounts of plaster in the balloon, different amounts of air, different materials and different lengths of materials to bridge the inside.
By repeating the process I become more efficient at it, I was quicker at setting up, therefore the plaster wouldn't have set by the time I was done. I learned about what worked and what didn't, naturally I could eliminate those techniques that didn't work and adapt to using new techniques that I never thought I would have used.
As well as having an array of different models to display my experiments and ideas I also ended up with a large amount of waste made from the cracked, broken, and powdered, plaster which fractured off, or was crushed, smashed, and chipped off in the process of making.
