PVA Plastic.

During the mid trimester break I managed to get along to the University to collect a bag full of PVA plastic pellets. They sounded like a interesting material to experiment with, although I'm not sure how I would include it as a part of a my project.
PVA is a water soluble plastic. To use it you can heat it in water and then pour the water onto a large surface. Leave it for a few days and when the excess water evaporates you will be left with a sheet of the PVA plastic.

This must be kept dry or it will dissolve again.

Dissolving the pellets in hot water.
Liquid plastic in a large tray. Now to wait for the water to evaporate out.
Uisng play dough as a mould I made a '?' shape and poured some less dissolved PVA into it.
When it dries it should look somewhat like a Question Mark.
