Plaster (And Some Resin)

Smashed plaster. It breaks when the balloon is popped and the pressure on it changes.

Balloons distorted by internal objects. The plaster will set quickly so they need to be turned carefully to distribute the plaster evenly.

Balloon full of plaster and air.

Play dough moulds used with Kleer Kast resin. One idea was to set the hair (my hair) in the resin, and then to plait the ends of the hair that stuck out. Another was to make a mould of lego and then make a resin replica of this that would fit into other lego pieces.

A plaster orb smashing as the balloon is peeled off.

 Smash!

                  Crash!

                                    Break!
A fire work in a plaster filled balloon.

A large balloon filled with plaster, ready to be turned in order to spread the plaster evenly.

This is my plaster station. It has gradually gotten messier; I'll have to crack the dried plaster off when I am done.
